Check Vibe before an MTS Link interview

An “MTS interview” may mean an MTS Link meeting or an assessment in another system. Identify the actual service from the invitation before checking devices and speech.

1. Identify the meeting

Note whether you use MTS Link in a browser or the desktop app, plus OS and Vibe version. If a separate assessment link exists, clarify that system and its rules.

2. Test incoming speech

In a practice meeting, confirm both people hear each other. Start a Vibe session, ask the participant for a complete question and check the transcript and suggestion. Test your own microphone with a separate sentence.

If you hear the question through headphones but Vibe does not receive it, use the general system-audio diagnostic. Changing sharing mode without testing cannot identify the cause.

3. Distinguish content audio from call audio

MTS Link documentation describes screen, application or tab sharing. Web shared-content audio is available in the Chrome tab mode. That describes audio sent to participants, not Vibe’s incoming speech capture.

Share the intended source and have the participant inspect it. Repeat after changing source or client. Do not carry a browser result over to the desktop app.

MTS Link calls and proctored tests are separate

If hiring requires a special browser, workplace recording or extra cameras, follow that assessment’s instructions and clarify permitted tools. The MTS brand alone does not establish its monitoring capabilities.

This guide does not certify Vibe invisibility in MTS assessments or exact-version MTS Link compatibility. Such a check needs the exact client, OS, versions and a separate permitted test environment.
