Move Vibe to Applications
A .dmg file is a disk image; it does not install the app automatically. Until Vibe is copied to Applications, it runs from a temporary disk and can disappear when that disk is ejected.
- 1/4
Download the DMG
The Vibe Interview file will appear in your browser's Downloads folder.
- 2/4
Open the DMG
Double-click the downloaded file and wait for the Vibe Interview Finder window.
- 3/4
Drag to Applications
Drag Vibe Interview onto the Applications shortcut. Do not run the app directly from the DMG.
- 4/4
Launch the installed copy
Open Finder → Applications → Vibe Interview. You can eject the DMG afterward.
Cannot find Vibe in Applications?
If the DMG window has no Applications shortcut, open Finder → Applications in a separate window and drag Vibe Interview there. If the app is still only inside the DMG, it is not installed yet.
Set up Vibe after installation
Choose a language, learn the controls, add context, and grant the macOS permissions Vibe needs.
Verified by Apple Vibe opens normally from your Applications folder.
