Vibe with Kontur Talk: a pre-interview setup guide
Your invitation opens a corporate ktalk room. Check that exact configuration: available sharing modes can depend on the client and organizer settings.
Tested on 23 October 2026
We tested Kontur Talk with Vibe 4.48.4 stable on macOS 26.5.2 and Chrome 155 as the receiving client. A separate guest Chromium 145 sent synthetic study speech through its microphone into the actual call, with local playback muted. The receiver used built-in Mac speakers, Vibe system audio enabled and Vibe microphone disabled.
The speech appeared in Vibe as an interviewer turn and Auto produced a relevant answer. A second browser participant also received a shared TextEdit window and saw its test marker update. This verifies window delivery while Vibe is running; it does not establish assistant invisibility during entire-screen sharing.
Headsets, your voice through a physical microphone, Windows beta, the meeting service’s native app and proctoring were outside this test. Repeat the check with your own devices and intended sharing mode before an interview.
1. Identify the room and client
Note the browser or Talk app, OS and Vibe version. Connect your headset before testing. If the organizer permits a practice connection, use the actual room or one with matching settings.
A missing share button is not necessarily a Vibe issue: Talk moderators control participant sharing permissions. Ask the organizer if the required action is unavailable.
2. Test the call, then Vibe
Before starting Vibe, confirm that both people hear each other. Start the Vibe session and ask the other person a short question while you stay quiet. Check its transcript and suggestion.
Test your own sentence separately. If only your voice appears, follow the general permissions and system-audio guide before changing all devices.
If the participant sees a black area
Record whether the whole screen or a region is black, whether it occurs without Vibe and the selected source. Compare only during a practice call.
A black rectangle alone proves neither assistant detection nor invisibility. It can indicate a capture issue. Keep OS and client versions for support. Do not disable antivirus, corporate policies or OS protection to fix sharing.
Scope of this guide
The test above used one corporate room with guest access. It does not automatically cover other organizer settings, the native client or Windows beta.
A separate coding editor or assessment platform has its own rules. A ktalk call result does not certify another tool’s behavior or monitoring.
